My experience:

It was a very interesting project (lasting for 12 months). During this time, I had the opportunity to work closely with the programming and art teams.

I kept up with the programming team during the development of the AI system and the interaction and iterations of the system until it was complete.

Speaking of my process of creating enemies/bosses, it could be described as:

  • Design [documentation of everything about the enemy]

  • Art creation [recording character movements and visuals based on the briefing]

  • Implementation of AI behavior [within Unity, using the system built by the team]

  • Implementation of attacks [within Unity, using the system built by the team]

  • Iteration [small changes made to improve functionality]

  • Finalization [delivery of the complete enemy]
