I talk about game design, gamedev and Brazilian games for people who make games and people who want to. I'm co-founder of Nano Knight Studio, digital games professor at FIAP and host at Rede Ronaldo Games. Since 2018 I've worked on systems design, mechanics, combat, game feel and level design.

Pimbolas
Pimbolas is a foosball party game with local multiplayer. You control the players with your gamepad's sticks and triggers: move the rods, hit the ball and spin like a pro. Every match, power-ups and modifiers change the ball and the field, so no two matches play the same.
There are giant balls that grow mid-air, square balls that bounce wherever they want, fireballs that burn your players, bombs, slippery ice balls, planets and even coconuts and crabs. Play with friends on the same couch or climb the arcade mode against the CPU, unlocking characters and items along the way.
My role: game design (progression, balancing and level design) and sound design (sound effects and music). It's Nano Knight's first original commercial game, made by a team of three and published by Nuntius Games and Vsoo Games. The development became content through YouTube devlogs, from prototype to launch.
